On July 1st Designers-in-Residence (Lidia Wachowska, Melissa Serpico, Anna Fong and Agga B.) attended the world premiere of Erina Mano’s latest movie: KAI-KI: TALES OF TERROR FROM TOKYO. The premiere took place at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, CA. The creative lounge CHICAGO was one of the sponsors of Erina’s big debut in the U.S. The designers had created 4 different looks for the young starlet to wear during her stay in Los Angeles.
Club Nokia hosted two screenings of KAI-KI: TALES OF TERROR FROM TOKYO. A mini-concert followed each showing in which Erina Mano sang the film’s theme song “Returning Home” as well as “Sekai wa Summer Party,” a happy pop song that from her first tour album. Just got back from LA. It was a great trip. It was so much fun watching Erina Mano, a Japanese starlet of Hello Project fame, on the stage wearing one of my dresses. She initially wore it to a press conference in Tokyo while announcing the world premiere of her latest movie: KAI-KI: TALES OF TERROR FROM TOKYO. Then she decided to wear it on stage at Club Nokia while performing 2 songs from her latest album. The dress fit her perfectly and it moved nicely on stage. I couldn’t ask for a better presentation.
